Welcome to the LJMU Snowriders

The LJMU Snowriders (AKA Liverpool John Moores University Ski and Snowboard Club) is the biggest and most active club on campus. Regardless of whether you have even seen snow before or not, LJMU Snowriders has something for everyone.

For beginners, we offer subsidised lessons on real snow at Chill Factor-e in Manchester andf or those with experience we provide free-ski evenings with discounted entry!

Be part of our race team! We will be competing in Kings and B.U.D.S competitions for the second time this year and hold regular training sessions with our qualified race captain at local dry slopes.

Additionally, the LJMU Snowriders are renowned for their social scene! With regular socials, big union events, balls, barbecues and much more, it's a miracle we manage to get to the slopes in the first place! Some say we are a bunch of alcoholics and they’re not entirely wrong but hey, we know how to have a good time!

To top it all off, LJMU Snowriders holds an annual ski holiday over the winter break!

Throughout LJMU, we are renowned for having THE BEST socials, events, holiday out of every club/society at LJMU. Sign up, and help us retain this status on and off the piste!!
